Someone once said: “Life is a journey, where you are always learning until you die.” While starting the new hiring process, with a bit more experience this time, I’m working into improving the story. I’ve been really cautious, making sure the plot unveils itself in the most surprising way for the player. The more puzzles you solve, the more plot you unveil, and the more fun you’ll have. For the first time in this kind of video games – unless I’m wrong – every single character, even the smallest NPC, will have a background story, and you’ll have the option to find out about it.
I’ve also had to make some cuts, I was aiming to 130 scenarios, but given the size of the team our budget can afford (and without the Kickstarter help yet) we had to narrow it down to 80-90 which is still a great number in terms of point and click games.
